Full day throwing and decorating any level of experience, 16+

(Note students can do hand building/sculpture if they prefer - just let the potter know)

10am - 3.30pm approx.

Included - all materials, tools and firing & glazing of up to 5 pieces & we invite you to share in complimentary hot drinks, biscuits & cake.

A fun, relaxing and completely absorbing day for beginners, or more experienced students may use the day to hone specific techniques.

Students are taken through all the basic techniques of throwing, turning, handling and decoration with one student to each working area with wheel. Up to about 5 pots by each student are subsequently dried and bisque fired, then glazed by the potters in your choice of the beautiful reactive colour glazes characteristic of Woodsetton pottery, for students to collect approximately one month later.

Alternatively students can return for a to specially arranged half day or full day workshops to decorate and glaze their own work.
